Ezikir collects the following data in order to provide its services: • Account information: Name, email address, phone number (optional). • Location information: Approximate location to calculate prayer times. Exact location is never used or stored. • Usage data: Verses read, completed prayer and habit records, journal entries. • Device information: Push notification token, operating system, app version.
The data we collect is used only for the following purposes: • Providing app features (prayer times, Quran reading, habit tracking). • Delivering a personalized experience (spiritual score, daily missions). • Sending push notifications (only if permission is granted). • Monitoring app performance and fixing bugs (Firebase Crashlytics).
All user data is stored encrypted on Supabase infrastructure. Only you can access your data (Row Level Security policy). Passwords are never stored in plain text. You can delete your data or remove your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Ezikir uses the following third-party services: • Supabase: Data storage and authentication. • Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics. • Firebase Crashlytics: Error reporting. • RevenueCat: Subscription management. • OpenRouter: AI assistant (communications are transmitted encrypted and are not stored permanently). • Aladhan API: Prayer time calculation (location information is sent to this API and is not stored).
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Profile → Settings → Delete Account), your profile and all associated personal data — prayer logs, journal entries, habit records, AI conversation history, favorites — are permanently deleted from our systems, typically within 30 days. Some anonymized or aggregated usage statistics that can no longer identify you may be retained longer for product analytics. Data we are legally required to keep (e.g. for tax or fraud-prevention purposes) is retained only as long as the law requires.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Request correction of inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your data. • Restrict or object to certain processing. • Receive your data in a portable format. • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at noreply@ezikir.com. If you are in Turkey, you may also file a complaint with the Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kurumu (KVKK Board). If you are in the European Economic Area, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Ezikir is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 13. If you become aware of such a case, please contact us.
Push notifications are sent only if you explicitly grant permission. You can turn off notifications at any time from Settings or your device's system settings.
On iOS, anonymous usage data may be collected under the App Tracking Transparency framework in order to improve the app and provide you with a better experience. You can change this permission at any time from System Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via an in-app notification. You can always access the current policy from this page within the app.
